ArelPOTKAM attends the 2nd R&D Innovation Summit and Exhibition
Istanbul Arel University's ArelPOTKAM-Polymer Technologies and Composite Materials Research and Development Centre attended the 2nd R&D Innovation Summit and Exhibition, held on 6-7 September, with the support of Istanbul Development Agency.
The 2nd R&D Innovation Summit and Exhibition held at the Lütfi Kırdar Convention and Exhibition Centre has been organised under the leadership of the Architects and Engineers Group MMG and the aegis of the Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology and with the support of the Ministry of Defence, the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, the Governorship of Istanbul and the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality.
The aim of the 2nd R&D Innovation Summit and Exhibition is to create synergy and interaction among projects conducted by R&D centres, universities, techno parks and organized industrial zones and contribute to the transformation and commercialization of these projects by bringing them together on the same platform.
During the two day event participants have the opportunity to meet field experts, business and industry representatives, academicians and public body authorities by attending the various sessions organised as part of the summit.
As one of the successful projects determined by the Istanbul Development Agency the ArelPOTKAM-Polymer Technologies and Composite Materials Research and Development Centre is present at the event to welcome the attendants.
The 1st R&D Innovation Summit and Exhibition was held on 29 and 30 November 2016 at the Istanbul Congress Centre and more than 180 innovative projects were exhibited from various universities, techno parks and R&D centres around Turkey. With more than 500 R&D centres, universities, public institutions and organisations, municipalities and investment groups the 1st R&D Innovation Summit and Exhibition reached more than 5.000 attendants. The 2nd R&D Innovation Summit and Exhibition held this year aims to host more than 10.000 attendants and has been designed to make major contributions to the improvement and development of Turkey.
